Reapers are soulless beings who have turned from the light. They hunger for human flesh. Reapers serve the god Silas who was the goddess Selena's mate. Guardians fight against the reapers hoping to keep them from turning supernaturals and killing humans. One bite or scratch and it turns them. Only the blood of a fully ascended guardian can save them. However, nothing can save a reaper once they've made their first kill.
